The Nature Artists’ Guild is proud to present a schedule of demonstrators for the upcoming 2025 Autumn Art Exhibit at The Morton Arboretum
In addition to enjoying over 200 works of art by more than 70 Guild artists, Arboretum visitors will have the opportunity to watch and interact with the following members as they demonstrate and discuss their methods, materials, and inspirations.

The theme for The Sixth New York Botanical Garden Triennial is all about orchids, whether terrestrial or epiphytic, found nearby or anywhere in the world. The diversity of orchids is incredible; there are over 30,000 species and over 100,000 hybrids.

Reed-Turner Botanical Artist, Charlene Riffer, has five pieces in this local show. She is displaying her playful botanical art where leaves and found natural objects create people.

Reed-Turner Botanical Artist Meeting at Reed-Turner Woodland Preserve. The Board of Directors will be reviewing matters with the committees.
Carol Jean Rogalsky will demonstrate Silverpoint - the art of drawing with a silver-tipped tool. This art form was utilized by old masters like Leonardo DaVinci. It lends itself nicely to botanical art.
Members have received emails regarding the RSVP deadline date, materials that will be distributed and materials that members need to bring to the workshop.

In collaboration with Share Our Shore - Waukegan (Lake County Audubon) and Waukegan History Museum at Carnegie, Heeyoung Kim, and 14 artists from Brushwood Monday Open Workshop and Tuesday Eco-Botancial Zoom Workshop of HK Botanical Art Academy took on a new theme, shorebirds, migrating/residential birds, and other fauna and flora in the dunes ecosystem, mainly of Waukegan shores.

Hidden Oaks Nature Center is open Wednesday - Sunday, 10:00 am - 4:00 pm.
The Nature Artists’ Guild was there when Hidden Oaks celebrated their grand re-opening after the facility was purchased by the Forest Preserve District of Will County, and the Guild will be there again a few years later to help celebrate the recent extensive renovations to the award-winning building.

Derek Norman, founding member of Reed-Turner Botanical Artists has an exhibit at the Hunt Institute. In celebration of the recent acquisition of over 200 artworks by Derek Norman, this exhibition highlights work created over the last three decades and reflects his lifelong interest in the beauty of nature.

The exhibition showcases botanical works by artist Heeyoung Kim and current and invited students of the Heeyoung Kim Botanical Art Academy she founded a decade ago at Brushwood Center.
